California to allow same sex marriage

It's my first post on politics. Gay marriage unbanned in California. Is this politically correct? Does it matter? Get my take on the subject. To me, something just seems too "here I am look at me"! What this does to young children and teens.

There are many important issues in people's minds in this day and age, but how important is it on the scale of necessity? Gas prices are forcing people to stay home and rising the cost of practically everything. People need to open their eyes and see what is of true concern.

Second amendment at risk

I am allowed to own a gun and there is no one that will be able to take that right from me. I will buy from locals if I have to in order to protect myself. Local governement once again is doing their best to make decisions for you and me. Is this right? I guess when no one in the world says anything, nothing will be done.

Rebuilding after a major disaster

Hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires and flooding have been around for a while. When a disaster hits and a home is destroyed repeatedly, should it be rebuilt?

You should vote no matter what!

With the election day around the corner and a large number of voters still undecided, people are getting on those who haven't made up their mind. I've made up my mind that I'm not voting for either candidate. So for those of you who think I should vote just for voting's sake, read on and learn something!

The Truth Hurts

Yeah, I know it's been a while since my last post. I've been very busy with work, the house, etc. I have so much to talk about, but it seems no one wants to hear it. Why? The truth hurts, we all know that, but I feel obligated to tell it no matter what consequences it brings. Why? It will come out eventually.

Individuality is what separates us

One cannot be two and two cannot be one. You are and individual with your own reality. You care about things that affect you. You contain thoughts no one else knows. Your dreams and visions of the world are different than mine - that is what makes us unique. Each of us wants the freedom to remain their own person, yet individualism is what is destroying us.
