Lost Boys: The Tribe not as good as the original

Lost Boys 2: The Tribe Movie Review

Rating: 7 out of 10

Months back I bought a new DVD and like the rest of them I sat through and watched the previews for upcoming movies that I might like to see. I happened to see a trailer for The Lost Boys: The Tribe and it had my interest. So I waited for it to come out and just happend to pick up a copy the other day.

Corey Feldman plays Edgar Frog again in the sequel but in my opinion trys too hard to reinact his younger Lost Boy days. He has his moments in this one. Basically, the story is about a brother and sister instead of two brothers. The sister falls in love and is overcome by the head vampire while her brother does whatever it takes to save her from becoming a full blooded, blood-sucking demon! The film consisted of a lot of motorcycles, surfing and feuding - this was much like the original. Since I grew up watching movies with Corey Feldman, Jason Patric and Corey Haim, I didn't feel like I was a part of the film as I did with the original.

Although the movie was not as good as the first one, it did have it's own positive points. The special effects are better and the attacks are even more terrifying than the original. I'll leave it at that and let you find out the rest for yourself!
