Government: The next form of evolution?

Let's get ready to rumble!

When will things finally begin to turn around? The media twists stories beyond belief, more and more people are getting involved in politics, government is growing at an incredible rate while the motives behind it all remain the same. During the days before the social networking era, politicians would argue it out, either getting the job done or not. The best part about those days is people were blind to the truth and the amount who thought they were right was limited. Now, everyone thinks they have the answers - they rush in to give their opinion whether wanted or not.

Maybe too many one way thinkers voicing their minds isn't the best thing for the world. If you give Joe the freedom to argue the fact that abortion is wrong, you give him the opportunity to stand for something that is only important to him. On the other hand, Sue will always believe it to be something positive. How do you see it? Can you divide the issue even further by giving your opinion? That is what is happening for those who can't see it.

There is usually only two sides to every story, but with billions of people rushing to have their say, we are seeing old topics brought to life with new perspectives. If history has taught us anything, it should be clear that we cannot make the proper choices because the reasons behind them are wrong. If the old ways haven't worked, how can the new? No matter what people say, we've always been divided and it has just gotten worse lately.

I am not a negative person. I love life more than anything. Maybe that's why I'm so passionate about it. Maybe the only sorrow in my life is the fact that it is going to hell by the hand of everyone in it. Perhaps the search of the perfect life is causing more problems than solutions. Besides, our only duty in life is to work to feed ourselves. What more do we need than food, water, clothing and shelter? Anything other than this is waste and therefore meaningless. Until everyone has what is needed, all else is vanity. We can continue creating controversy until we are blue in the face, buying things to make us happy, having children we think will fill the void and continue to work solely for our own purpose or we can unite and put all the nonsense behind us. Maybe we need to lose one for once.

As Jesus stated in Matthew 16:25, "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." This, my friends is the answer to all the problems we've faced since the beginning of time. How much more will it take before people begin to discover it?
