Government: Go directly to jail, do not pass go

The game of Monopoly

A government of the people, for the people and by the people. Does it say how I can opt out? Is it my only choice to grin and bear it or leave if I don't like the way things are? Am I legally binding into an agreement with Uncle Sam the day I am unknowingly assigned a social security number at the time of my birth?

The more I disect politics and the government, the more I realize my true freedom - or lack thereof. In this nation where the people are supposed to be first, I feel that most of are always forgotton and wind up being last. Not only have Americans been neglected over the years but the leaders themselves have become wealthy off the sacrifices of many. While policies and guidelines have been put in place by by those elected into office are meant to help us, they inevitably growing to be against us. If this is really a nation where a man's voice is heard why the lack of action? I always knew my vote didn't make a difference.

Play that tune Bush!If I choose not live by the laws set forth by the government of this country, I am likely to get arrested and persecuted for my actions and the odds of spending time in jail are in my favor. I'm not going to spend a lot of time on this subject due to the fact that I will more than likely include this in a future book. However to get my point across in this blog, I have to elaborate a little further. If I do not accept these laws, the government has the power to take me off the road by revoking my drivers liscense. They can also take everything I own if I withhold taxes that pay for things that seem to never get done in my honest opinion.

So let's make this quick and easy by stating the fact that the government owns it's people. The processes and procedures that take place behind the scenes - the ones most people never find out about, are beyond in control. It seems to be a monopoly that leads to dictation. Can this truly be freedom when there are rules that are always against us? Therefore where can I hide? Where can I go to get away from what the bureaucrats have decided for me? Where can I run in order to keep what I earn and live a life full of joy and fulfillment?
