The master of all puppets
I have to laugh about the way the presidential candidates are scrutinized in today's elections. Candidates go through the expensive process of advertising their competitor's flaws in order to make us aware of who they really are and to make them look good at the same time. It is a fight to the death race in which anything is possible and the highest position in the country is at stake. They would jump through flamining hoops of fire just to earn your vote.
Maybe I'm just a little nieve, but lately, I've been hearing about Michelle Obama and how the Obama team is giving her a "political makeover" because of the way America negatively views her. Is it just me or are these people trying to deceive us right in front of our face? What we've seen in the past few months is the truth. People don't just change overnight.
What has happened to people? Has their brain been totally washed? A group of lying politicians publicly cover up their tracks and insist that they should be your candidate of choice but no one claims it to be fishy. If I disowned everyone I know because of what they say, would you still trust me? What if I left my church after years of continued worship?
In my honest opinion, the government has become your master whether you believe it, like it or not. Americans cannot live without someone telling them what is right or wrong. Maybe what we need is for people to sit down and realize that all our problems are due to our differences. We create laws and enforcement for those laws, but the law can eventually own us. We, like Michelle are being led into what we think we want. The funny part about it is that no one knows what they want. They want change but how perfect of a world could it really be if they're never satisfied with what they have? People are leaving religion, becoming more independent yet always dependent and even more stubborn to basic common sense.
You are a puppet... You do what you are told to do... You do what the world demands... because you helped put the world in control of you. You don't have a choice. Do you call this freedom?
