The Truth Hurts

A white lie don't hurt anyone right? In this day and age, people are losing their grip on themselves and the rest of the world simply because too much is hidden. Instead of saying what we truly feel, we keep it bundled up inside where it does more harm than good. We bite our tongue to uphold our reputations while the truth stares us right in the face.
In this world, everyone must be politically correct, or else they are ridiculed. Chaos is filling the hearts of men and women who can't state cold hard facts when they are in plain sight. Even if one can get it all out in the open, who will listen?
You want to hear how good life is, how bright a future we have, when we can't even drive down the street without someone initiating some sort of road rage. Our governments tell us that everything will be ok when we all know the stats speak for themselves. We tell each other what we don't mean - all the while being completely fake and insincere.
The truth will come out. Whether it be through oral communication or an all out civil war, everything will be brought to the light. So the next time you feel like expressing yourself in any way, be sure to do it whole heartedly and don't beat around the bush. Say what you want to say. Say what needs to be said.
Don't congratulate me if I don't deserve it. Don't tell me something just to make me feel good. We all want to be winners, but aren't willing to work for the win. We all want to be equal when clearly, that is not possible. Yes, we are born equal, but that changes as we each start down our own life's path. Do you think it benefits your children to tell them they've done great when they've actually lost? What kind of people will this create? Losers. If everyone gets a trophy when it isn't deserved, what is the point of winning?
Granted, polite words go a long way, but the truth, no matter how nasty it is, will come out in the end. For those of you who think I'm negative, please consider the way of the world and how you truly feel in your heart. Analyze yourself because in the end, you, I and everyone else are the problems we face.
