What is your purpose in life?
I thought it was time for another blog entry - especially since it's been almost a month since my last. Time is going by quickly and things are happening much faster. Sometimes it can be a full time job just trying to keep up, much less get ahead. Many of you will find this out when you go searching for your own life, rather than the one someone else has made for you. Once you arrive midway on the path of your life, you will be faced with many decisions that will carry you throughout the rest of it.
Sometimes I feel like I am preaching to the choir when I rant and rave about the world. As I said in my previous entry, I love life and therefore, I love God and everything I see that is from him. It is in my love that I hate. I guess it goes back to good and bad, light and dark, hot and cold. Just as family will always accept you and love you unconditionally, so family and close friends are they who cause most of the hate in one's life - you love them so much you could kill them! I guess without love, there could be no hate.
When I sit down and think about the world and the way it is, the more I begin to realize that it is perfect in every way. Granted, bad things happen but who are we to call something bad if it helps another in the long run? The only thing that is bad in our world is how we see it and the decisions we make regarding how we live our lives. Who and what we become is what matters. Everything else is meaningless.
A time is coming when all people will experience a moment of complete awakening. One day, they will suddenly realize that they have been asleep and causing the problems we currently are faced with. They will come to understand that they have lost all joy because of doing what they hated for so long. No matter what happens in the future, no matter how someone perceives me, I can rest knowing that I've done my job to the best of my ability and there will be no room for regret. I can't tell you how many times I've had a hard time saying what I truly feel. It is the struggle of putting a feeling into words that heal yet describe the urgency of a matter. It is hard to always be politically correct. Truth and politics don't go hand in hand.
My words are true. No one can deny them. If you can't handle them, then there is something you are hiding. For those of you who want to listen, please listen with all your soul. For those who continue to ignore the signs, continue on your way. You will find your purpose sooner or later, it is a matter of when you decide to listen to it. My job in life is the artist, my purpose, the messenger.
