People: They're magically suspicious!
The more I learn about the way things are, the more I see that things will never change. Want to know why? I'll tell you. As long as you don't know what is inside the mind or heart of another, there will always be separation. Parent's cannot trust their children, husbands think completely different than their wives and the harder people try to find common ground, the harder it becomes to accept the truth they find. Trust is what builds a world that everyone wants to live in but just how much of it exists in a group full of "me" people?
We are living in one of the most crucial times in history. The results of each and every thing we do, whether right or wrong, makes itself known somewhere, sometime. Whether it is getting up on the wrong side of the bed and causing your whole day to head in the wrong direction or a nation of people making all the wrong decisions on a constant basis - whatever we focus our time and energy on will eventually have an impact on someone, somewhere. Your choices today affect everyday life more than you realize.
The reason I don't see things getting too much better in the future is the fact that the people in it won't change. And that my friend, is the cause of all our problems. You see, we can create as many solutions as possible - solutions to fix things for good, but if people don't accept them, what good are they? Once you develop a working solution and create a law to enforce it, there will always be people that rebel against it. You will find that the world is a prime example of a "deal with a catch". It is the fine print that no one reads. You can do things to make something better, but there will always be someone that is negatively affected by it, whether economically or mentally.
I can sue someone just by saying they looked at me the wrong way. Just because I'm jealous of them, I can take them for all the have. Besides, they parked in my spot and that caused serious emotional distress in my life. That parking spot meant the world to me. I'll just kill my neighbor over my parking spot void. I can say whatever I want about a company - I can call them childish names if I like. I didn't love the product I bought. The one where I read hundreds of positive reviews about it when most likely someone was paid to write them. I can find something wrong with everything. I can complain until I'm blue in the face. I can cry and cry until someone tends to my needs like a little baby. I can find a way to get what I want if I throw a big enough fit. I can get whatever I want if I act like everyone else.
Where is the trust? The honor and respect?
