Bible prophecy concerning the oceans

I recently discovered an article about ocean life dying at an alarming rate. This find has scientists terrified about the future of the world's oceans. They claim the amount of sea life dying has been tripling every decade. The end result of this problem is disease that in return promotes even more damage.

Dead Fish - The dying waters

Revelation 8:11 says: And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

I am a watcher and a witness continually on the lookout for the promised signs of the times. Many believe the end time scenario to be a mere myth or an event that will occur too far in the future to worry about now, but do recent discoveries deserve to be overlooked? All things happen in their own time, but lately, now seems to be the time.

Is prophecy in the bible taking place today?

I believe that the prophesied "end of days" began in 1914 with the "Great War," or "War to end all wars." This was the sign Jesus said would indicate the end was near. How near? Jesus said "as in the days of Noah." Noah had 120 years warning. 1914 + 120 = 2034. Or 2033 if you are inclusive, as the Bible often is. 2033 is indeed 2000 solar years from the ascension of Christ.

At my website, I layout "prophetic possibilities" based on how I read history as compared to the Revelation. I haven't updated it in a few years, and still need to add my take on the last two chapters, but it is reasonably "complete" in its take on "fulfilled prophecy."

To give you a clue: We have seen three of the four horsemen.
