Why not plant a fruit tree?

The Tree of Life

It seems as though some of the most important things in life, many so very simple, are being forgotten and overlooked due to the new ways of the world. At one time, the whole earth was a garden paradise - full of everything good. There was more than enough to go around, yet it is clear history has altered the natural flow of things. And let's be clear in thinking; the world doesn't have a history, we created the concept. It is concepts such as these that have molded the world into what it is today. It is also the reason why we've lost hidden treasures.

The disasters that shake the world are laced with the fingerprints of humankind. We are the cause of everything that happens and there is no set fate. The events that take place are always created by a choice one makes. Think about it, love or hate? Right or wrong? Each has an outcome.

The more we give into the concepts we create, the more we are bound by them. The more we follow the new ideas, the more we forget the old. The answer is, no matter how difficult a question, the answer is always there - a choice. It is the right and only choice. Are we to continue war or sow seeds of love? Why plant a tree other than one that produces fruit? These are basic ideas that can change the world. That is what we need. A change in thinking, a change in concepts. Instead of digging up your yard to plant a shade tree, why not one that produces food?

Kill two birds with one stone. Think simple. Think child like thoughts.

Sometimes the new ways of doing things, are not a good thing. Everyone forgets about the old ways. I think the old ways should never be forgotten. It is our jobs as parents, or grandparents, to teach our children all the old ways ... This is the way the earth is intended to be ... everyone has forgotten to look through the eyes of a child. Just show them ... teach them ... Love them ...
