My first six wishes for the world

My wish

I don't talk much about the things I want in life. I usually just see the problems with things and try to fix them. So instead of looking at the problems, I want to list a bunch of things I want to see accomplished in the turn around year of 2009.

1. First and foremost, I want people to leave other people alone. If something happens to another person, let it go and go after yours. Don't let another year go by simply waiting for your day in the sun! If people don't do what you like, focus on things you are doing wrong first and maybe you will be a good role model for someone to look up to for change. Everybody complains about what they have or what they don't have. If they had the money, they'd lose it due to lack of understanding the way money works. It is their fault that they lack.

2. Forget about everything that is going on in the rest of the world and focus on your own. You can't change the economy, you can't solve the energy problems. We have people working hard for that. You can't let the current events that are threatening our nation overwhelm and stress you out. It isn't an easy thing to do, but most of the time if you actually take a hard look, you will find that this as well leads back to you. Don't worry about the way things work, don't let people scare you. Get your head on straight and move forward.

3. Quit expecting and start doing. I've always heard that it takes hard work to get anywhere in life, but is it really difficult or is believing it is impossible difficult?  Deep down, you can find what you want to achieve but it can only happen when you go looking for it and give it your all. If you go by what your parents have told you throughout your life, you will find it is hard to get anywhere.

4. I want people to get what they want just by wanting it. Instead of focusing on all the wrong focus on what is great about the things in our life. The people, pets, gadgets, etc are all a part of us for a reason - we all want to be loved by someone. Jesus said we can do anything if we only believe. In order to believe, we must invest our faith in thoughts of good things, meditate on these always and expect them to come to pass.

5. I want people to remove their importance off of money and into personal relationships. Everything that we own is overpriced and overworked for. The systems setup by man are not secure and have in the end, put the people on earth at great risk. Because the United States was so powerful, the other countries in the world wanted to be like us and therefore have mimmicked us in every way. This goes back to the golden rule of "do unto others as you would have them do to you!" Everyone should keep what they have and start over. Don't base who and what they are by what they have. Learn that if you give what you have, you can receive even greater things.

6. Similar to number one above, leaving people alone also consists of removing all judgements. When we judge others, we actually judge ourselves. We are our own worst critic and a lot of times, we judge other people based soley on our own individual beliefs. This is childish. Let people do and be whatever they want. If they want to be poor, let them be poor. If they want to succeed, help them.

I don't think these are too hard to accomplish. With everyone's help, I think we can do it. It is a start. What do you want? Leave a comment below and share your ideas with other readers of this article. It only takes a few minutes. Besides, what else do you have to do?
