Scotty grab your guns... and food

Here kitty kittyBeing the peaceful person that I am, the events taking place in the world today has me nervous as to what will happen in the months, even years to come.

With farms being flooded and crops being destroyed, prices are going up all the way around. With gas predictions at $10 per gallon and corn at $18 a bushel, people will not be able to pay their bills, drive to work or buy food for their family. Times are getting bad. I've been predicting it for years.

So what does that mean to me? Take precautions and keep watch.

Later this week, we are heading to town to pick up $1000 worth of canned goods and pasta meals as well as getting water reserves ready. My economic stimulus check is going to fund my new revolver and shotgun. I've never owned a gun but I've hunted quite a bit when I was younger. Some of you may laugh at this idea and due to the fact that I'm from Kentucky, think that I'm a true redneck, but when people start siphoning my fuel out of my truck or breaking into my house looking to steal the food supply, I'm going to be there to protect what I have. I hate violence with a passion, but I will not be overtaken by anyone.

In this time of American tribulation and division, people will change and do things they normally wouldn't do. Survival instincts take over and the animal comes out in people. The wildcat in me is breaking loose and the predator will overcome!

Do you own a gun?

Yes
No
